On the local server ard Local, running on a Raspberry Pi, the SSl encryption has been updated to TLS 2.1 and further updates have been made.
A 256 bit key and ECDHE are also used as a cipher suite in the ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA512 configuration. The following cipher suite configurations are also available as alternatives: DHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA512, ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384, DHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 and ECDHE-RSA-AES256-SHA384.
There has also been an upgrade to PHP version 7.2. PHP version 7.1 is also available in parallel operation.
New websites have also been set up. The website Dns.local provides information about the local DNS server and shows all websites blocked by the DNS server. New webapps are also available as a password strength and security checking tool. Password.local also gives tips for secure passwords and does not send data to other servers.
New features such as a password manager and ebook reader have also been added to the Cloud.local web cloud. Updating the webcloud to the latest version of Nextcloud has improved performance and usability.
The backup system of the local server has also been changed to enable trouble-free operation of this server in the future. The local server ard Local is constantly maintained and extended with new websites and functionalities.
